JRSO

After a very successful re-launch the Jrso’s have been working very hard spreading the Road Safety message.

In January we met at Holy Cross Primary School for a Twilight Trail evening looking at why everyone needs to be seen during the darker hours, we spent time designing jackets and cycle helmets that would be seen in the dark and the daylight, and finished the evening outside looking for hidden reflective treasure.

FIRST FEET

Feet First is the new pedestrian training scheme for key stage 1 children.

It is a four part programme looking at the road and traffic and safe places to cross .

We have chosen the winning design for out new JRSO badge and the design will be shown very soon.

We thought that 2 designs were so good, (they are using road signs) that we decided to join parts of the two together.

The winners are Marie Weston from Granby Primary and Mervin Noronha and Tilly Mcauley from St Patricks RC Primary.

Their prize is a visit to the area traffic control centre.
